Overview
Osmo Country Shades is an opaque, at first slightly satin-gloss then satin, natural oil based wood finish. Wood colour and grain are covered, but the wood texture remains noticeable. The microporous surface allows the wood to breathe and reduces swelling and shrinkage. Water-repellent, extremely weatherproof and UV stable, surface does not crack, peel, flake or blister. Easy and seamless application. Finish stays workable while coating. The dry finish is safe for humans, animals and plants.

Tinted Colour Information
Tinted paint is custom mixed in house at Next Day Paint using our Osmo tinting machine. We mix the paint on site, which means we can offer our usual fast delivery with no extra delay. Tinted Colour Match paints can't be cancelled or returned as they are tinted to order.

Preparation
Wood surface must be clean, dry and frost-free (moisture content max. 20%). Osmo Country Shades is ready to use. Do not thin. Stir well before use. If possible, please apply the first coat to all sides before installation.
Note: The finished surface and product coverage is influenced by several factors, including the condition of the wood. Therefore, a trial application is always required, especially for unfamiliar surfaces.
For new oily or exotic wood species, please allow approx. three months exposure to the outside elements after installation and before application
Application
We recommend always following the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin. It is recommended that a small test area is applied before treating the entire surface to ensure compatibility.
Aftercare & Storage
Regular Cleaning: Damp cleaning with using Osmo Decking Cleaning Brush.
Occasional Maintenance: If necessary, intensive cleaning and refreshing using or .
Recoating: Simply re-apply one coat onto the clean and dry surface when signs of wear become visible.
